MichaelWeston
This should be fun.....RB. -Return Mixon but he can be released saving 6.1M. He has a roster bonus in early March. He just ran for 1000 yards and caught 52 balls and is a team captain. Essentially the question is can you get what he gives you for less than 6.1M and let's say you can get it for 4M...is saving 2.1 worth it? -Brown showed flashes with an incredible 84.6 elusive rating. -Williams is a free agent -Evans barely played. He is going into his final contract year and is a special teamer. let me know of errors or additions. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_oGEDBZnU6LESfPLyD8apeXSKI-OJ4Z8IWYd7YcnAsM/edit?usp=sharing Draft Order Cap RB Age Overall Running Receiving P Block R Block Snaps Starts 23/Career Stats Notes ELU Mixon-Bengals 28 71.1 73.8 68.8 29.7 59.9 751 17/88 257-1034-4-9; 52-376-7.2-3 6'1 220 39 2025 3M Roster Bonus Early March 6.1M saved w/release Brown-Bengals 24 63.9 59 81.1 26.7 58.7 93 0/0 44-179-4.1-0; 14-156-11.1-1 5'9 215 84.6 2027 Williams-Bengals 27 58.9 61.6 51.1 75.1 52.5 156 0/0 15-69-4.6-0; 7-10-1.4-0 5'8 206 26.1 Evans-Bengals 27 51.9 63.3 52 13.6 60 24 0/1 2-12-6-0; 1--1.-0; 2 tackles 5'11 215 2025 Starters 7 Henry-Titans 30 90.4 87.8 70.8 79.5 58 556 17/88 280-1167-4.2-12; 28-214-7.6-0 6'3 247 64.7 Captain 4 yr 48 8 Pollard-Cowboys 27 77.5 84.7 51.4 70.6 62.8 903 17/23 252-1005-4-6; 55-311-5.7-0 6'0 209 48.5 Franchise 10 Dillon-Packers 26 75.7 76.1 68.2 56 56.6 494 6/11 178-613-3.4-2; 22-223-10.1-0 6'0 247 43.1 Rookie Deal Singletary-Texans 27 75.1 75.4 61.2 34.3 79 697 10/66 216-898-4.2-4; 30-193-6.4-0 5'7 203 38.2 1 yr 2.75 9 Foreman-Bears 28 74 77.4 58.3 29.5 57.2 267 8/21 109-425-3.9-4; 11-77-7-1 6'0 235 57.3 1 yr 2 Edwards-Ravens 29 73.7 75,4 54,5 55.1 59.1 512 9/26 198-810-4.1-13; 12-180-15-0 6'1 238 32.3 2 yr 9 Mixon-Bengals 28 71.1 73.8 68.8 29.7 59.9 751 17/88 257-1034-4-9; 52-376-7.2-3 6'1 220 39 2025 6 Barkley-Giants 27 70.2 70.6 60.6 76.6 56.4 718 14/74 247-962-3.9-6; 41-280-6.8-4 6'0 232 37.4 Captain Franchise Moss-Colts 26 66.9 72.8 43.9 60.4 57.4 531 8/11 183-794-4.3-5; 27-192-7.1-2 5'9 205 55.6 Rookie Deal 2 Gibson-Commanders 26 66.6 68.4 64.5 71.9 59.7 473 2/32 65-265-4.1-1; 48-389-8.1-2 6'2 220 86.9 Fumbles Rookie Deal Swift-Eagles 25 66.5 71.6 53.5 48.9 53.8 669 15/31 229-1049-4.6-5; 39-214-5.5-1 5'9 215 46 Rookie Deal Jacobs-Raiders 26 65 70.1 51 50.9 55.3 600 13/72 233-805-3.5-6; 37-296-8-0 5'10 223 32.2 Captain Franchise Mattison-Vikings 26 61.8 70.2 41.2 49.5 43.6 204 13/19 180-700-3.9-0; 30-192-6.4-3 5'11 215 52.5 CC 5 4 Ekeler-Chargers 29 60.2 65.1 57.4 29.3 36.6 628 14/68 179-628-3.5-5; 51-436-8.5-1 5'10 200 49.2 Captain 4yr 24 Rotational 2 Johnson-Bills 27 78.7 79.1 64.1 58.9 77.8 127 0/6 30-132-4.4-0; 7-62-8.9-0 5'10 210 86.5 Knighten 16-17 KR, STs 2 Harris-Bills 27 76.5 75.9 57.3 85.3 60 60 0/34 23-94-4.1-1; 2-16-8-0 5'11 213 21.6 Freeman-Rams 28 74.2 78.1 46 67.6 78.9 209 0/9 77-319-4.1-2; 1-13-13.0-0 6'0 229 70.9 5 Perine-Broncos 29 71.3 72.5 81 31.1 59.3 360 1/12 53-238-4.5-1; 50-455-9.1-0 5'11 236 71 2025 6 Hunt-Browns 29 69.8 68.7 67 58.4 65 367 2/38 135-411-3.0-9; 15-84-5.6-0 5'11 216 10.1 Akers-Vikings 25 69.7 66 76.4 71.2 71.2 139 1/15 60-167-2.8-2; 11-70-6.4-0 5'10 217 36.4 Achilles injury Nov. 3 Elliott-Patriots 29 67.6 69.2 66.3 37.1 55.7 540 5/107 184-642-3.5-3; 51-313-6.1-2 6'0 228 36.7 8 Dowdle-Cowboys 26 66.6 69.4 59.6 34.1 60.1 268 0/0 89-361-4.1-2; 17-144-8.5-2 6'0 215 57.7 2 Murray-Bills 34 66 74.2 52.8 64.5 57.1 375 4/80 79-300-3.8-4; 17-119-7-0 6'3 230 21 Edwards-Helaire-Chiefs 25 65.7 64.9 66 58.4 60 270 3/32 70-223-3.2-1; 17-188-11.1-1 5'7 207 47.6 Rookie Deal Brown-Bengals 24 63.9 59 81.1 26.7 58.7 93 0/0 44-179-4.1-0; 14-156-11.1-1 5'9 215 84.6 2027 9 Dallas-Seahawks 26 63.8 66.6 65.3 49.9 55.6 95 0/2 10-36-3.6-0; 6-26-4.3-0, 3 tackles 5'10 215 22.5 PR/KR McKinnon-Chiefs 32 63 60.6 68.4 60.7 43.9 264 0/18 21-60-2.9-1; 25-192-7.7-4 5'9 209 27.5 8 Patterson-Falcons 33 62.7 66.3 56.3 78.3 58.1 177 0/60 50-181-3.6-0; 9-38-4.2-1 6'2 220 61.5 3 Ahmed-Dolphins 25 61 64.4 58.8 36.4 57.4 135 0/4 22-61-2.8-1; 16-88-5.5-1 5'11 197 44.5 Scott-Eagles 29 60.8 69.9 50.5 35.1 44 68 0/12 20-86-4.3-0; 4-52-13.0-0 5'6 203 57.5 Williams-Bengals 27 58.9 61.6 51.1 75.1 52.5 156 0/0 15-69-4.6-0; 7-10-1.4-0 5'8 206 26.1 Johnson-Jaguars 28 57.5 55.3 65.7 43.7 52.5 195 0/2 41-108-2.6-0; 10-140-14.0-0 5'10 208 41.1 Edmonds-Bucs 28 57.3 59.3 54.6 40.4 60 191 0/18 49-176-3.6-0; 14-81-5.8-0 5'9 205 32.1 Cook-Ravens 29 53.8 51.2 62.4 61 59.3 211 1/73 67-214-3.2-0; 15-78-5.2-0 5'10 210 37.7 Dobbins-Ravens 25 53.5 49.6 65.9 48.2 59.6 30 1/10 8-22-2.8-1; 2-15-7.5-0 5'10 215 27.5 6 Breida-Giants 29 52.4 60.3 37 63.3 56.5 289 4/24 55-151-2.7-1; 17-88-5.2-0 5'10 190 30.6 5 4 Kelley-Chargers 26 52 60.5 36.4 42.4 58.3 391 3/4 107-405-3.8-2; 8-32-4-0 5'11 212 27.3 Evans-Bengals 27 51.9 63.3 52 13.6 60 24 0/1 2-12-6-0; 1--1.-0; 2 tackles 5'11 215 2025 Ogunbowale-Texans 30 46.6 56.3 49.8 29 31.7 132 0/8 8-35-4.4-0; 2-18-9-0, 7 tackles 5'11 205 60 Penny-Eagles 28 44.5 49.4 57.4 18 60 31 0/11 11-33-3.0-0; 1-5-5.0-0 5'11 220 0 Hines-Bills 28 4/17 5'9 196 CC DNP, Injury My thoughts -Moss seems interesting. sparky151
I'd rather go the rookie route in replacing Mixon. The team can probably re-sign Williams cheaply. He fills the Perine role of QB protector. We could probably find a good RB in round 3 or later. Audric Estime or Braelon Allen would be good additions. Bucky Irving will be a day 3 pick but has skills.

He is going into his final contract year and is a special teamer. let me know of errors or additions. texbengal
JK Dobbins is hella talented, but he’s a big injury risk, there’s no doubt. Love what Mixon brought, and I could see him back… but if they move on from him, I wouldn’t be shocked either. He’s developed as a pass catcher and he’s improved as a pass protector… but he doesn’t break a lot of tackles and he’s never been a really instinctive runner. And for whatever reason, Evans hasn’t caught on. I expect they’ll move on from Tray’veon Williams also, who to his credit did some good things as a Bengal… mostly as a STer. Guys I like as potential replacements would be Zack Moss or Devin Singletary. Neither are feature backs on their respective teams but both have shown they can carry a heavy load and be successful when called upon. Both run hard and are good at getting yards after contact (as is Dobbins). Also like Clyde Edwards-Helaire, more as a pass catcher and 3rd down type, and also like Rico Dowdle as an under the radar guy. He’s a hard runner with some wiggle and he’s an upcoming FA in Dallas that they may look to re-sign.
MichaelWeston
Was thinking that it might make sense as a 3headed monster of Perine (should he be released)-Brown-Rookie. I think Perine would be cheaper and more willing to take a supporting role.

JC
Did they add a year to Mixon’s contract or just restructure the final two years? If they only restructured - I’d say the writing is on the wall. Guy has one career carry over 50 yards over 1,500 carries. You can talk chicken and egg all day but he just doesn’t have the juice to outrun guys. Never seemed like he did. You want to bust these cloud coverages - break off a couple 50-75 yard runs for touchdowns before the first half of the season is over next year and watch that change.

|BlackJesus|
I've always believed that CEH would be a pro bowl RB if reunited with Joe and Ja'Marr. Burrow famously said he thought CEH was the most athletic guy on their LSU squad that included Justin Jefferson as well. He will be cheap. Seems like a no brainer. |BlackJesus|
If you made me GM, I would bring in both CEH and AJ Dillon for a thunder and lightning combo, then cut Mixon and have Chase Brown as the x factor back.

Jamie_B
March 16. That's the date Joe is due his roster bonus. Let's see what happens. TBH there is a small part of me that hope he goes somewhere else behind a good Oline and we get someone else at RB behind our bad at run blocking Oline and well see which chicken and which egg is right. But that's not gonna happen, Joe is going to be here. Especially when you consider how much Zack Taylor has gone out of his way to praise him. The people at the top just don't care that much, they're more interested in Good Boy Points and everyone thinking they are nice while they stack more money and think of more excuses to stay $50+ million under the cap every season. Being good at your job or not being a public menace are entirely optional. Just smile a lot and you can retire here, no problem.
