Like most of our losses this year it's on the defense.

We're just not good. ……….

So, enjoy the playmakers and don't expect wins week to week - they're unlikely to come unless something about the defense changes (and believing they will switch coaches isn't realistic, it hasn't been Zac or the Brown family's style).

Reason why this organization will never have the Lombardi Trophy in their lobby.  They won’t do what is needed to win and the excuse is always $$$$$.  We are stuck with these shitty coaches and nail their contracts expire

right. It’s painful to watch. Geno Stone is absolutely hot garbage. He’s terrible. Can’t tackle, takes bad angles. Thatmscramble TD from Lamar, he was absolutely clueless.

Vonn Bell can’t run. The top 3 safeties all run poorly, for that matter. They don’t have enough athleticism back there.

Yup...and the safeties are freaking SLOWWW dude. Bottom line is this team cannot win with this defense. Dreadful, absolutely dreadful

Wtf is wrong with putting the game on your high paid kicker that generally excels in these situations. 53 yards is nothing for McPherson. Can’t plan for holder not getting the ball down. There was nothing wrong with the strategy there.

And what is wrong with being more aggressive and putting the ball into 1, 5 & 9 hands to win the game and get closer than 53yds!

even after all the years of sucking, the Bengals still find new and creative ways to lose.

QB throws 5 TDs only to choke on a potential game clinching drive?

Getting the ball back with a chance to win, you take a sack on 1st down?

You call 3 straight runs because you think a 50 yard FG is a gimme?

Your great punter sucks ass as a holder, which now makes him an official Bengal.

Comical.

I was about to but Joe waived me off and changed holders.  This loss is all on Cordel Volson.

Not only that, but I just lost $100 by a half point.  No :ninja: on that one.

Maybe, maybe not.  Could've converted & moved into FG range or even scored on the play & it never goes to OT.

I think it's very fair to say it was a "playing not to lose" strategy.  It didn't hurt them but it also couldn't help them either.  The punter didn't need better position, the clock wasn't a big problem and the only way your series continues is if half the Ravens D can't tackle.  It simply means Zac didn't have confidence the D could stop the Ravens from getting in Tucker range if they get a play off.  There isn't really much of a disagreement between fans to be had here, you either like to see the coach force it or you don't.

With the season on the line, I would have liked to have seen them try a long pass vs hope for the coin flip.

He is the def coordinator. He chooses the players,to play.He calls the defense.Yes it's his fault.

He choose the players he has to work with. Mike Hilton was out Dax Hill went down, they had to play Jordan Battle at corner for fuck sake.

Lou isn't responsible because Battle isn't a CB, or because Sam Hubbard cant tackle Lamar Jackson.

He can only draw up schemes based on what he has to work with.

You wanna blame the front office for sitting on their hands and allowing DJ Reader to leave? Im with you. I will fly that flag. You wanna blame them for not finding players in the draft on defense that have stepped up? Ok lets do that. You wanna hold Lou accountable for that as a problem. Ok Ill jump on that, and his position coaches and the scout. Completely fair.

But Lou has proven that when he has the horses he can scheme games with the best of them.

In fact let's keep the really real.

We don't make it to the Superbowl without Lou
