The [s]#[/s]Steelers defense has played so softly, the NFL doesn't even fine them anymore. Here's why: http://sulia.com/my_thoughts/c949bb7f-7d92-4888-af74-5372fdc1d4c1/?source=twitter …[/background]

Bengals need to win this one for the fans. I don't want to sit around for the next several months knowing the Steelers knocked us out of the playoffs. It was brutal in 06 and I don't want that feeling again.

If they wanna put more asses in seats next season, winning next week would help. If not its just the same old shit in the eyes of a lot of fans, even if we are gonna be really good next year.

Yep. Right or wrong; Agree or don't agree.... The 0-6 against Steeler/Ravens and 17-7 vs. everyone else stat is making the rounds.

Feels like a college program needing a statement game.

We have 10 days to prepare for them. Our coaches better be ready for this game.
We better have at least 3 tricks up our sleeves that they're not ready for.

1.I want some sort of fake punt/fake extra point, some super duper punt block. an Onside kick when they don't expect it.

2. a WR that can throw to Green part Duex. Halfback pitch to Dalton bomb to Jones

3. a blitz so monsterous Ben Rothlisberger's wifes vagina hurts.

We were in a similar state when Carson had his 4th quarter comeback game in 04. The are the best D's year to year in the league. And without a plethora of shit calls, we would have beat the Ravens last year.

Gresham had a TD, complete bs.

I hope we run a lot more this next game.

I want to see the 2009 bengals vs these ravens and steelers. Pound em on the ground and mix in the throw. AJ is amazing, but lul the fuckers to sleep.

Also if we are getting something going in the passing game and the OLB's start dialing it up vs whitworth and Andre, it's tims for dalton to use those legs, run the tes out in the flat, clear the fucking middle of the field and let him gain 7-15yds. It's what i want to see. Dalton is a mobile fast fucker and i exect him to be running 6-7x a game minimum, and at least 1-2 1st downs game. Nothing is more frstrating watch big jen escape pressure and run 11yds for a 1st down on 3rd and 9.

Even if they can start splitting with those teams on a regular basis they will move from a slight above average to a pretty good team.with our winning percentage about 70 percent against all other teams that puts us at 8.5 games a season. Split with those teams and you can be a consistent 10-11 win team.

I don't see the steelers or ravens being any good in a year or 2. They talent they have drafted is lacking big time. One of those 2 teams will finish in last place next year.

It will be pretty amazing if the browns win out, the ravens lose out, we win out.

COuld be

10-6 Bengals
9-7 Ravens
8-8 Browns
8-8 Steelers

but i expect somethiung more like

10-6 bengals
9-7 ravens
9-7 steelers
6-10 browns

I know mike adams is out.
Adams, Colon, and Gilbert won't be playing, but David DeCastro is making his comeback.

Beechum will man the RT spot in replacement of Adams/Gilbert, as he's done for two games, now.

Not entirely sure how the DeCastro comeback will change things. With Colon out, they could either play DeCastro at LG, and keep Foster at RG, move Foster to LG and put DeCastro at his intended position of RG, or put DeCastro at RG, Pouncey at LG, and Legursky at C (Pouncey has played a couple different games at LG this season to make up for various guard injuries).

All those options are in play.

We've been saying that for years already.....what it comes down to is that Pitt and Baltimore have tremendous "programs". They will always be quality football teams. They may not be as good as they currently are or they may be better but they will never be "bad" football teams. Their leadership would never let it get to that point.

I think Colon is wasted too.

That's ridiculous. Fortunes change. I'm sure people said the same thing about Oakland, Dallas, SD, et al.
