Posted August 29, 20222 yr comment_1677635 Seems as good a place as any to keep them all in on spot. Buffalo and Denver both need punters. A 7th for Huber? Do I hear a 6th? Not a recent pick up for us but overlooked OG, Nate Gilliam, played a decent gamer us Saturday and could stick around. https://bengalswire.usatoday.com/2022/08/28/nate-gilliam-underrated-name-watch-bengals-final-roster/
August 29, 20222 yr comment_1677637 Anyone know anything about Gilliam other than what the article noted?

August 29, 20222 yr comment_1677640 He’s from Tennessee, went to Wake Forest, and he is related distantly to my family: https://godeacs.com/sports/football/roster/nathan-gilliam/4971
August 29, 20222 yr comment_1677646 Huber has outpunted Crisman(sp?) in the preseason and never had a botched hold on kicks in 200 years in the league. I think he stays and crisman(sp?) doesnt likely clear waivers.

Both punters have their own strengths and weaknesses, but Huber is set to make a bout a million more than Chrisman if he stays and has a significantly weaker leg.

August 30, 20222 yr comment_1677658 wonder if we could trade Carman for Terrace Marshall? Panthers just traded for Shenault. Already have DJ Moore and Robbie Anderson. Shi Smith is having a great camp. Rashard Higgins is a sturdy vet. https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/depth/...olina-panthers https://catcrave.com/2022/08/29/caro...e-marshall-jr/
August 30, 20222 yr comment_1677663 Regarding the punters, don’t forget that the Bengals’ focus will not just be on 2022, but will also include 2023 and beyond. Chrisman just might be the guy they go with, but Huber is a very difficult cut to make. 🦗
