Very interesting but to be honest, I lost track of him after he left the Bengals.

I always liked him and never understood the criticism when he was here.

That criticism was rooted in his rookie holdout, and I’ll never believe different.

Rangers have been undefeated on the road for the entire playoffs.

And 1-3 at home. Go figure.

They are mashers--not a lot of small ball. Bochy is a great manager (always has been). Their pitching is so-so. They do match up well against PHL. AZ...not so sure.

And conversely right here and now with the Bengals, sticking with the same poor players

at a make or break point in the season who have underperformed and can be improved upon;

the proverbial pounding square pegs into round holes or the definition of insanity being doing

the same thing over and over again even though it doesn't work.

Yes, Joe Mixon and Yes Irv Smurf Jr.

Still have the brain worm about the Eagles even though they have the best record in the NFC trading

and making changes to improve while we are standing pat at a crucial point in the season.

Please not the definition of insanity thing again.  So dumb.  Making changes just for the sake of changes is asking for trouble.

The question isn't how good Mixon or Irv Smith are, it's who can you get to replace them and at what cost?  These trades don't always work either.  Guys are available for a reason.  Either they are not the player they used to be, they are bat shit crazy, or they want an insane amount of money.  Philly may be going out and screwing up a good thing.

I agree because that is literally not the definition of insanity...this is the definition of insanity....it's crazy how that gets repeated so often when it's easy to find out what is the real definition of insanity.

insanity. noun. in·san·i·ty. 1. : unsoundness of mind or lack of the ability to understand that prevents one from having the mental capacity required by law to enter into a particular relationship, status, or transaction or that releases one from criminal or civil responsibility:

As far as mid-season trades go that is tough because it's hard for guys to get up to speed quickly enough to be productive. Also, off the field, if a player has to move himself and his family to another city in a matter of days it can be extremely stressful and make it harder for the player to be successful. These guys are not football-playing cyborgs, or are they, Catfish Bob??? :ninja:

I know if my job told me, we traded you to a competitor and you start tomorrow morning, you have to move across the country tonight, and they want to you be a top performer in a few days...my head would be spinning and I would be pissed off.

Good berry on locked on bengals said bengals called rams in offseason about Donald and Ramsey. It be nice but glad we didn’t do that. Not sure how our players would gel with either of those guys.

If they got either one of those guys it would be great, they are HOF type of players...I don't think these guys really hate each other off the field...shit gets crazy between the lines but often times it stays there. Aaron swinging a helmet at Karras was a bit much, maybe they fight in the locker room if they want to and move on.

Posting the definition of insanity and expecting that people have never heard of or learned from past postings of the definition of insanity is the definition of insanity.

Just sayin' <g>

Not a great photo, but was noticing Columbus East’s (aka Tigers) uniform/helmet ensemble from last night

I was surprised to see East in the playoffs until I looked at their record and I learned they expanded the playoffs. And yet, they managed to lose to my pathetic Whetstone Braves. 😂
