Unless the Bengals are willing to spend more money on UDFAs than they did last year, the only way they will be able to sign any is to draft them late on Day Three. Teams like Kansas City and Philadelphia are willing to spend more for UDFAs including guaranteed money. We get CAR TEN + NEP (12 wins total in 2023) they get ATL IND + NYJ (23 wins). We also have a softer division schedule because we play them twice while they play us twice. When I boarded the plane in Barcelona and was handed a newspaper, that's when I learned that the Bengals had drafted David Klingler.
