I would genuinely like to see a link to some sort of source or report that last years deal was intimated as a bridge to a long term deal because I haven't seen that anywhere. From what I see, he was coming off a bit of a down year with only 8 sacks, the FO gave him a $15M extension which is more than generous for that type of year, and he's mad that he signed it after now having a career year. What am I missing?5 points

The big advantage is Mike Brown doesn't have to pay their Greyhound fare to come to town when he calls a meeting. They all get a $10 Speedway gas gift card but they have to pay for their own Slushee.5 points

Big fella might have the highest ceiling of anyone in the draft. Certainly of any of the OL. Stinks he probably isn’t playing next year but I’d expect day two guys to be significant contributors next year.4 points

Trey Hendrickson is a power rusher that left many games with back issues and is 29. Trade him. He will never get to where he was last year. He doesn't have pass rush moves. He has a motor.4 points

Fucking retire then. And sky-point your way right out the fucking door.4 points

Nobody has said anything about the Bengals going back on a verbal deal, including Trey. He signed an extension and then had a career year so thinks it should get him another raise. But the team can't give every player a yearly raise who outperforms their contract, especially with a salary cap. He made the wrong bet on himself by accepting too little and now wants a mulligan. Tough shit.4 points

The Bengals bet him on being a star player and won the bet. Fair and square. The players can't win every contract.4 points

I went to Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse in Columbus last night for a company function. I had never been there before, but now I understand why the Bengals choose that restaurant to wine and dine free agents. Even though we had a limited menu, everything I ate was amazing!4 points

Pretty easy to tell what the Bengals are most focused on with this draft. A whopping 15 of their 19 listed top 30 visits were with offensive/defensive linemen. DT Evan Anderson, FIU DT Johnny Newton, Illinois DT Justin Rogers, Auburn DT Maason Smith, LSU DT McKinnley Jackson, Texas A&M DT T'Vondre Sweat, Texas ED Chop Robinson, Penn State ED Gabriel Murphy, UCLA ED Xavier Thomas, Clemson OT Amarius Mims, Georgia OT Bayron Matos, South Florida OT Giovanni Manu, British Columbia OT Javon Foster, Missouri OT Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State OT Troy Fautanu, Washington S Daijahn Anthony, Ole Miss TE Erick All, Iowa WR Jalen McMillan, Washington WR Joshua Cephus, UTSA4 points

Given the absolute thieves the bengals have become trying to steal my tickets, games i cannot make, i will have for sale at face value or REALLY close, at minimum way cheaper than market value. So if you need a pair or two pairs, let me know, I am in section 111 and 106, behind the bengals sideline/bench. figured id post it so its on peoples minds when the season hits. Ill post week by week or as I know my travel plans as they arrive.3 points

Here is a quote from Kirby Smart about the inexperience of Mims: "I think the eight career starts is a mistake," Smart told reporters during Georgia's Pro Day on Wednesday, March 13. "What does that matter if you block Travon Walker, Nolan Smith, Robert Beal your whole career... Would you rather have a guy who's played 27 games and played against nobody or somebody who played against first-round draft picks every day at practice? I know which one I'm picking. ... He's uber-talented. He's going to play a long time [in the NFL]."3 points

Katy won't. She understands that. An agent with 1 aging player with back issues decides to shoot for the moon to compensate himself. He has the wrong org to try that with .3 points

Retractable is twice as expensive. They would never make the money back, even if they had Taylor Swift concerts once a month. The city council dickheads just need to realize that having an NFL team is a unique privilege that must be paid for. There's only 32 cities lucky enough and Cincinnati as a smaller market would not be chosen if they were rewarding teams now from scratch. So the Queen City better not fuck this up and force me down my Villain Arc towards Joker / Bane "explosives under the field" status3 points

If the agent only has one other name client, then that leads me to believe that he, as I just told a client and fellow Bengals fans "does not know with whom he is messing". My client asked if it was because of Mike Brown's cheapness and I said no, because it was because of Mike Brown's principles. Basically he's going to say "Shut up and play." or "Shut up and retire."3 points

Wait, is “H-Town” even a real thing? I can’t remember Houston ever being called H-Town. When I lived in New Orleans it was usually just referred to as Fucking Houston but I doubt the league would go with that.3 points
