[/quote] Well again, from the impression I got, he wasn't confident that the NFL could get all of the consessions they are asking for for a new CBA. 18 game schedule, reduced pay for everyone, rookie scale, ect ect ect. But even with a new CBA, and rookie scale, you would have to think QBs would still get some kind of premium over other positions, just like now. Not sure who is source was and I told him it'd probably be luck, but if they could trade down and still get Newton, could be huge for them. I'm not buying the Clausen argument though.
