ArizonaRising
Just an Arizona fan with no dog in the fight. You guys played a hell of a game against us down in the desert this year. Trying to be objective here. The media's (particularly ESPN's) demonization of Vontaze Burfict and Pacman is ridiculous though. They have done everything short of calling for Burfict to be hung. As a long time NFL fan, the dirtiest, cheapest team in the NFL has always been the Stealers. Shazier HIT WITH THE CROWN of his helmet. They get away with murder every year. AJ McCarron deserved better than that though. Ya'll need to hang on to Hue Jackson.

|Tigers Johnson|
Everyone knows the Steelers are the dirtiest team in the NFL but the NFL refuses to do anything about it. Stand up to them and play their game and you are demonized....

Ya'll need to hang on to Hue Jackson. No mention of the Shazier hit, the extracurricular celebrating after the hit, Porter on the field, the hair pulling by Munchak, Castro driving Burfict into the endzone long after the play was over, and to top it off, CBS went back and reviewed the hit from Burfict claiming it could have been dirty. I'm done with football until September. I'll watch the draft because I have a family friend who may get drafted

saphead
The national media and fringe fans don't know shit about the real history between these 2 teams. But those who really know, know what's up. ArizonaRising
I'm from Charlotte, so I'll take Arizona or Carolina winning it all. The thing about Carolina is guys like Cam Newton and previously Steve Smith Sn. Hard to cheer for them. Anyone but the Seahawks, Patriots or Stealers. Go Bird Gang though ESPN keeps talking about Pacman and his claim that AB was faking and will play vs Denver. They keep saying Saturday even though the Stealers are clearly playing SUNDAY. ESPN is so ignorant about the context of Burfict and the Stealers history and it's so partial to the most lucrative franchise and market in the NFL it's not even funny. Caught the Wildcats vs. Sun Devils game the day before as well. Had some good natured ribbing both ways with you guys, and everyone was gracious in victory. Good luck to you, and whenever the subject of the Steeler Bengal game comes ups, please remind people of what a joke the narrative was. Im a Bengals fan first and foremost, but like you Jamie, I still want Carson to do well when he's not playing Cincy. The closest thing I've seen to unbias commentary regarding the game on ESPN was Around the Horn on Monday. If you haven't watched it, go check it out. Cat
This was awesome. I like his rage. To the Bengals: I know you lost, but thank God some team had the balls to give those cheating inbreeders a big taste of their own medicine. You werent going to win, anyway. The crooked Rooney family has this league in their back pocket.Big Ben-two-time rapist. James Harrison/Ryan Shazier/Troy the Head and Shoulders homo - headhunting cowards. Kimo Van Oelhoffen-rolling and breaking QB legs (against Cincy no less). Mike Tomlin - player tripper and cheater. Joey Porter - cowardly taunter. Mike Munchaz - Hair puller and queer. Leon Searcy - Wife beating specialist.
|Dr Tarzan|
He was still under contract when he "retired" and refused to play for the Bengals ever again and demanded he be traded or he would stay "retired"Actually wasn't that simple. The Brown's and ML gave him everything and anything he wanted. He didn't want Reggie Kelly and Kenny Watson cut in favor of players with more ability or upside--they stayed. He was made the highest paid NFL player with handsome contract. Signed FA's that he wanted that either underperformed or were a headache--Like TO, and Laverius Coles. He was quick to jump all over Chad for running a wrong route causing interceptions--which we debated on this site just who was the problem--was it always Chad? Why would he run a route that the DB was standing there already defending? Chad may have made him look bad sometimes, but he made him look good on a lot of off target throws with acrobatic catches.Basically kissed his ass the whole time he was here, but he didn't like the way the show was being run, so he took his ball and went home--he quit. Some of us like me will hate that bastard till the day he dies. Some are sympathetic to his plight which, admittedly, once upon a time all had issues with the way the team was run, we just didn't sign a $100M contract. Would it take Carson wanting out?"And then....Until the day i die I will believe both wanted out because this team at least at that time (not so much now) was dysfunctional from the front office down.I think Carson leaving was a big catalyst for Marvin getting the changes he needed out of Brown in order to fix things. So I have no issue with Carson whatsoever.

JC
Chad seemed like he wanted money or a bigger market to display his antics.Carson left because he pissed his wife off. That's been hunted by multiple sources, even lap. Further information came out from somewhere that he had an affair and knocked a chick up. That may be a tall tale, but if you consider his wife was pissed enough to fly home and "never come back" during her third trimester, it makes more sense than her being pissed off about raccoons getting into the trash.I still like Carson. I wish he wouldn't lie about the reason he left. He was given everything he wanted while he was here.
|Elflocko|
I also think he wanted Marvin replaced. I remember when Marvin received the extension after what ended up being Carson's last season. A reporter asked for Carson's reaction to Marvin being retained and he replied with "No Comment"...
