Looks like they are trying to keep their people, they'll be some serious continuity on the line if everyone stays healthy. And you can probably see what that has done so far this year... I mean, I laughed my ass off... But c'mon Carson, that's your center man! Do you really want to embarrass him like that on national T.V? Of course I don;t know Cook.. Cook, 28, was previously under contract through 2011 with a $1.835 million base salary. A steal as a former undrafted free agent from Michigan State, Cook has started all 32 games over the past two seasons. Pro Football Focus graded Cook as the 12th best center in the league last year, with much higher marks for run blocking than pass protection (3 sacks, 12 QB hits allowed). Like this signing because we have him for several more years at a potential cost of just 5 million. We can eat that 5 million easily. I am not sure if he is good or not because the guys around him are so bad. He is an improvement over Ghiacuc but I dont see anything that makes me think he is that great.
