So I guess they are admitting the Bobby Hart experiment failed.

Glad he's back.

They're admitting Glenn hasn't made it through a full season in years.  Hart is only 24, I'd bet RT is still his job to lose.

This.

The club has also been fairly transparent in their belief Hart can play multiple positions along the line.

This was a general tackle depth move across the board. At this point I don’t think anyone would be surprised if Bobby suffered a season ending broken jaw from over-sized sandwich day at the local Jersey Mike’s.

And over 5 times as expensive.

True but what the hell, they aren't going to spend it on an upgrade in free agency & they're well under the cap either way.  How much they pay guys doesn't really mean much to me otherwise.

This O-line looks pretty bad. I doubt Turner is a better O-line coach than his predecessor. So the Bengals cast of skilled ball handlers might be less productive than expected.

We're about to find out, at least.

Turner is under the microscope right from the jump but you can't say he's been lucky so far.  Losing two starters before training camp even starts is a tough hand to be dealt, but Taylor wanted Turner for the job despite his checkered past. I don't think he gets a pass because of the injuries but I also don't think Taylor will drop him this soon even if we wish he would.
