May 7, 20205 yr comment_1616826 I'd like to see MORE STRIPES on the next ones ... especially covering the entire shoulders, like in this rendition ... Another option would be striping the entire pants like in these ... Another option would be striping the socks ... You could also just have stripes randomly going throughout the entire uniform ...
May 7, 20205 yr comment_1616827 Here are some cool (but subdued on the stripes) mock ups someone created ...

Adding one of those black with orange stripe helmets to the all black uniforms would be killer sweet. So am I saying have black, white and orange helmets to go with the uniforms? Yeah, I guess I am. Not going to happen due to the expense and probably some NFL uniform gestapo regulations but a nice idea. +1 for the addition and obvious thought and effort you put in. And don't be a stranger around here.

Note the stripe on the pants carries through both versions I created. I consider my pants to be final. It was jersey mods I was doing.

This is a concept I've been working on for a while through multiple iterations. At one point, I had the stripes up on top of the shoulders, but it didn't play as well as I hoped in a straight on view. So I made some changes. This is clearly a throwback inspired project, but as the Chargers have shown, you don't need to re-invent the wheel to make something sick. In fact, I think our jerseys are old looking now because they're from an era where design teams were trying to design motion into their work. That practice in and of itself is basically faded into the background, and clean, sharp, simple but powerful design is back in the fold. Look how many teams have abandoned their Nike designs for something more classic. I think we should follow suit. Here's the link to the entire set. https://www.behance.net/gallery/96655579/Cincinnati-Bengals-Uniform-Concepts? That Black and white Uni/helmet combo is sick. Love it.

If you ever want to kill some time in Quarantine, I'd love to see one with lots of stripes ... maybe the full shoulders ... and pants etc. But if not, no worries. Hopefully if the team ever considers changes they will consult people like you with graphic talent to do mock ups.

And the all whites (not the color rush but the regular ones) are my fave. And lose the orange unis, they are just way to loud.
May 13, 20205 yr comment_1617047 All i know is, after seeing the Falcons and Rams debut their new Nike-fied uniforms, I am scared to death to have ours redone. They look awful...

May 13, 20205 yr comment_1617051 If they're ordering them from the Bengals shop, they better plan on keeping the old ones around for quite a while.

May 16, 20205 yr Author comment_1617103 so i just noticed..... on the game burrow jerseys..... "This is a pre-order item. This item will ship no later than Friday, September 25." on nflshop.com. what. in. the. fuck. we all know china makes these jerseys for nike/nfl. i order all the time from china for work. i can have a sketched item on a napkin of a product turned into CAD drawings, samples cut, sent samples to me, make adjustments to cad, redo samples, send to me, approve design, and manufactur 500,000 units, and have them in hand by the end of june with no rush fees at all... what in the fucking hell would have to be happening for the NFL not to be able to have jerseys for 5 months?
May 16, 20205 yr comment_1617104 I'm wondering too. I wanted to buy the draft hat cause it's fucking awesome and it sold out on the night of the first round and now they've totally pulled it. Something is up with their merch.

IIRC, Nike had been looking to move apparel manufacturing away from China, and to Indonesia and/ or Vietnam/Cambodia (can't recall specifically). They had said it was because of human rights abuses, however also indicated rising costs which is probably the actual reason. i had purchased a Nike golf shirt after Christmas. The tag shows it being made in Indonesia, so there might be something to it. Will do some digging.
