April 29, 20223 yr comment_1670184 It's so weird and glorious to be in middle of the draft process and not feel like your team ABSOLUTELY NEEDS starting players. I'm usually pinning my hopes/expectations on draft picks at this time of year...not now! What a difference in attitude and enjoyment.

And it's great.. and it's weird how fast it seemed like it got here. Our season is usually over in early January and we have forever to wait. Pumped for tonight, should get two good players.
April 29, 20223 yr comment_1670191 Matt Miller @nfldraftscout · 6m Basically, if you want a QB or one of the top WRs…I’d be on the phone right now. That’s how it sounds.

I'm hoping he doesn't go that high, but I guess special teams players values are rising anymore.

They call him the "Punt God" for a reason. He is probably the best P prospect exiting college in NFL history. I could have even lived him with at #31. The fact that he is left footed also means you will likely get at least 5 turnovers a year, when they can't catch his punts because of the 'backwards' spin. So he is like a CB that gives you 5 Ints a year. And his huge leg likely makes up for an average of 50-100 yards a game in extra field position (so he is like a RB that runs for 100 yards).

We'd have the best ST in the league by far. That's gotta be worth a win or 2
April 29, 20223 yr comment_1670201 So much for some thinking he would have been reach for us at the end of 1.

Who else would you add? Andrew Booth-Clemson (1) Kyler Gordon-Washington (1) Cam Taylor-Britt-Nebraska (2) Cam Jurgens-Nebraska (2) Perion Winfrey-Oklahoma (2) Travis Jones-Uconn (2) DeMarvin Leal-Texas AnM (2) Phidarian Mathis-Alabama (2) Trey McBride-C State (3) Nakobe Dean David Ojabo Boye Mafe
April 29, 20223 yr Author comment_1670209 Surprised Seattle didn't take a QB with 40 or 41. Maybe that means they will still make a play for Baker.
April 30, 20223 yr comment_1670211 Ok that Vikes pick was flippin fantastic. Who doesn’t love old drunk guys?
April 30, 20223 yr comment_1670212 Robinson coached by Walters at Nebraska and a Taylor colleague at UK. We had a lot of ties there.
