|BlackJesus| Posted January 29 Author Report Posted January 29 I hope the Eagles win. But I would predict the NFL league office wants to see a 3-peat followed by a post-game midfield marriage proposal to Taylor Swift and a retirement announcement by Kelce. 🤢🤮 3 Quote
gupps Posted January 29 Report Posted January 29 I think the Eagles D wins the game for them. 1 Quote
Le Tigre Posted January 29 Report Posted January 29 Kermit can’t win, if he doesn’t have the ball. Old adage…but true. The Birds have the perfect offense to hold the ball a ton….and score. Now, in the real world—which is the NFL Psycho Circus—they will never hold the ball long enough/score enough, to keep the inevitable Post Game Brought to You by Pepsi/Toyota featuring 3-Peat KC from occurring. 2 Quote

In the AFC Championship and Super Bowl last year, the ratbirds and the 49ers were running the ball well against the chiefs, then they just stopped all of a sudden. 2 Quote

Running the ball is fine but it's hard to overcome penalties when doing it. A holding call or illegal formation at the right time will stop a drive. See OSU vs Texas for instance and the refs weren't even biased there. 1 Quote

If the running game was working, why would they stop? Quote
Bleeds Orange Posted January 29 Report Posted January 29 I'm gonna go with history and predict that if the 1970s Stealers, 1980s 49ers, 1990s Cowboys, 2000s Patriots, and 2010s Patriots couldn't win three straight, then this bunch won't either. 2 2 Quote

sparky151 Posted Monday at 08:17 PM Report Posted Monday at 08:17 PM Mike Sando of The Athletic had a piece on which teams had added the most talent in an offseason. This year's Eagles are 3rd over the last 30 years among playoff teams. But the Bengals in 2021 were one of the top teams. Looking at that O-line, it's hard to believe we won the AFC. But since then the team ownership and front office has seemed to shy away going for it. Maybe Mahomes and Allen and Jackson break their legs the same season but being proactive in improving the Bengals roster would help too. 1 Quote
T-Dub Posted Wednesday at 06:40 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 06:40 AM Supposedly he also asked Kelce which he loves more: Taylor Swift or phantom 15 yard roughing the passer penalties in the playoffs Quote
|High School Harry| Posted yesterday at 12:47 PM Report Posted yesterday at 12:47 PM Fun Super Bowl Fact… A Motel 6 located in the downtown area of New Orleans is charging $505 to stay in a standard room on Feb. 8 — the night before Super Bowl Sunday — and $456 to stay the night of the Super Bowl, according to Hotels.com search results. In comparison, prices at the same Motel 6 will plummet to $90 per night on Monday, Feb. 10, the day after the Super Bowl. Nightly stays drop as low as $71 in the summer months. Quote
