Welcome to the pain and misery that Bengals fans have had the past few years. At least they're getting it all over with early on in training camp and can spend more time finding replacements instead of having to do something stupid like face the Patriots with 2 linebackers (1 of which was on the team for like 2 whole weeks).

This is a bigger deal than it seems on the surface... Gaither has been mentioned as trade bait to obtain a decent CB. Even if he isn't seriously injured, what team will part with anything other than a scrub for damaged goods? Likely, Now the Ravens are stuck with him or will trade him at a fire-sale price, losing a pretty good T for little in return.

It sounds like he had cramps because he didn't drink enough water...he'll be back tomorrow and this is a non-story.

Carted off the field for cramps?

That's exactly what I was thinking Rumble, but you beat me to it. :D

Yeah, much ado about nothing. domonique foxworth tearing an acl is the real newsworthy item.

Agreed, that Foxworth injury (along with Reed, Washington and Webb potentially being out to start the year) was huge. I wanted the Bengals to draft Webb last year and I was real impressed with what I saw of him. He's potentially a #1 CB but he tore his ACL very late last season. I hope he's still out for week 2 and the Bengals home opener.

it's rather hard not noticing webb, isn't it? prior to his injury, he was looking like an absolute steal.

UPDATE: False alarm: Gaither only had cramps. This is why we don't post injury updates from camp if possible unless there's a cart involved. And even a cart doesn't guarantee much.

I bet we could get something for Purify or Crosby???? Hell they will cut one anyway - how about Jones?
