The rest of what fits the Bengals left

RB-Dillon, Moss, Mattison, Akers

WR-Watkins-Mooney-Campbell-Harty

TE-Fant-Hopkins

OL-Becton-Onwenu

DT-Roach-Kinlaw-Davis-Tart

CB-Robertson-Jackson-Hall-Henderson

You don't have Jermaine Elumanor listed and that's who I beli ve the Bengals will target.

2yrs 15mil 7.5 per.

Good move. He's a free safety and not a great tackler but can cover down the field. That will free Lou to move Dax around, maybe in the slot at times. We should also bring back Vonn. He's getting 6 mil guaranteed from Carolina for this season, subject to offset. So unless someone wants to pay him more than that, he might take a vet min salary for his new team.

" not a Great tackler".

Definitely area for improvement but his hawking skills are almost unmatched for a safety.

Dbackfield is shaping into a solid unit.

I really like him, just doesn't fit the profile perfectly. On 3rd contract and a little older

Stone signing eliminates Bell

Why? Geno is a free safety, Vonn is a strong safety. Cutting Nick Scott will save us a couple mil on the cap and Vonn might sign for less than that since the Panthers are paying him anyway. Adding Geno might bump Tycen Anderson to the practice squad unless they move Dax to the CB room.

Seahawks agreed to terms with DT Leonard Williams on a three-year contract.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth $21.5 million per year. Williams was the Seahawks’ big move at the trade deadline. Though the team fell just short of making the playoffs, it wasn’t because the move didn’t work out. Williams racked up four sacks and nine TFLs in 10 games with the Seahawks. Those are solid numbers for any player, let alone an interior pass-rusher. Having already invested a second and a fifth-round pick to acquire Williams, there was no way the Seahawks were letting him walk in free agency just a few months later. He will now return to Seattle with defensive guru Mike Macdonald as his head coach.

Like the Stone signing… they need more guys who get turnovers and he did that… last year, at least. It’s only a 2 year deal so who knows, maybe by then Dax takes that on, or maybe Anderson.

speaking of, I could still see Nick Scott back. Not as a S so much, but for ST play. If Tycen Anderson weren’t coming back from a serious knee injury, I’d say it’s unlikely Scott is back, but depending on his health, they may keep Scott around. He’s a good ST player.

that’s a lot for a 29 year old who’s bounced around some. But yeah, you wonder about DJ’s signability.
