After seeing Geisecki lately he just reminds me of that QB from like oklahoma or somewhere that we made a white WR out of.. tall ass dude.. forget his name.

2010 - Matt Jones? (6' 6" QB at Arkansas, caught 4 passes during preseason before being released on the final cut-down day)

Haha yea good point I just posted without context I guess.  Last night at the game I verbally said "Cody Ford sucks ass" after one play to which my 4 year old son replied "Dad, that's a bad word."

You ought to be ashamed of yourself for saying "Cody Ford" in front of your little boy.

Shame on you.

Are you worried about Chase now???

Right now I'm only worried about nose tackle. I know we can't stop the run, but can we at least slow it down?

Nah they're fine without him. Trade him to some no-hopers for half their draft then offer Higgins the same contract.. plus one cent.

If Chase wants to continue playing with a QB from LSU, trade him to the Commanders for a 1 and 2 next year.  Top 5 pick in

Round 1 and Round 2 would go a long way in shoring up both lines.  Won't have 25% of the cap tied up between 2 players

in future years either.  Win, win.  Then after a 4-13 or 5-12 season ask Chase how much he's enjoys watching the Bengals

kick ass all the way to the SB!

The biggest concern is the defense.  Last year even with Reader, they allowed almost 5 yards per carry as well as the most explosive plays in the league.  Burrow, Chase, and the OL are all important but ultimately it won’t matter if the defense doesn’t play much better.

Bringing this back since it’s playing out as myself and others predicted.  Offense has been good overall and OL has been the best since Burrow arrived.  Defense has allowed 2nd most points and 3rd most rushing yards.  You could argue untimely turnovers cost them the Chiefs and Ravens games, but the defense has been so poor this team is not a real contender as Burrow stated.

Well that seems to be in slightly bad taste.

Wonder if the equipment guys know he took one of the footballs with him.

Speaking of that...I know Rekhow messed up, but am I the only one that thought the snap was less than ideal also...was high and way in on Rekhow's body...a really good holder handles it I guess, but I'm not sure that's all on the holder.  BTW, I was kinda impressed that MoneyMac was able to kick it as well as he did considering all that.

Drue, (what a dumb way to spell Drew), we broke up with you. We replaced you with somebody hotter & younger and does all the stuff. ALL the stuff.

Go ahead and fuck off.

I never understood why you don't have your backup QB as the holder. Then it opens up a fake if the coach so desires.

My concern with the defense is so great, I cannot for the life of me understand where this confidence in beating our next four opponents comes from.

Punters have plenty of time to practice holding every single day.  QBs, not so much.

Exactly.  The Old School Bengals did that with Eric Wilhelm and Turk Schonert (I think) and they did pop up and toss one for

a first down a time or two.

I kind of thought so, too.

Looked high and inside and almost hit him in the face.

Still, he fielded it and flubbed it putting it on the ground.

But... it is what it is and the field goal was missed and we know the rest.

I feel horrible for how that kid must feel.

Really screwed up situation why he was put in that position to begin with.

Our offense.

Their getting better each game.

JB is on fire.

Wouldn't surprise me if the put 40 on the Midgets ( Giants)...

IIRC when this used to be a thing, didn't some backup QB get badly hurt and thus the change? Since you can afford to lose a punter more than a backup QB. I seem to remember someone getting hurt badly from that.

It's kind of sad that we can talk about JB putting up big numbers that if he had even a average defense he would get to sit and let Browning get some snaps. Sadly because the D is so bad Joe is going to be playing the full game every time.

He's being paid 55 mil to play every snap if need be..

That's over 3:mil per game.
