I_C_Deadpeople Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 Cartman seemed to have the talent , but he had a tree sloth drive to get better. The team missed the boat on his non football drive personality. I would say it is similar to the Burton miss. Quote

His NFL success was “in God’s hands”…and he didn’t (and probably still doesn’t) understand that he needed to work to further develop his abilities. 1 1 Quote

Perhaps poached from a college where a higher than average percentage on campus know how to pronounce Ciarán, possibly. Quote

T-Dub Posted January 20 Author Report Posted January 20 One thing you notice looking at the Bengals coach's roster is how young most of them appear. Not a lot of grey hairs there and I'd guess most aren't much over 40. Golden himself is 55 & will probably be the oldest of the bunch. Simmons is 51, Walters 48 - the rest look 5-10 years younger (without really digging to check everyone). Thought that was interesting & now I wonder how we compare to the average NFL coaching staff.. 1 Quote

|BlackJesus| Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Bengals: We have hired Scott Peters as the offensive line coach and Michael McCarthy as the assistant offensive line coach. 1 Quote
Jamie_B Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 If he can do even half of what Callahan was able to do with the Browns Im on board 2 Quote
Jamie_B Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Peters played Guard in the NFL so maybe he can help our guys not suck 1 Quote
texbengal Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 I remember when Peters played… I think he was at Arizona State. Tough guy… mauler type. He’s got an interesting background and I like that he’s had some success coaching up interior OL, ‘cuz the Bengals need some. Thought Derek Frazier might stay on as OL assistant but maybe he’s gone too. 1 Quote
texbengal Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Btw they gotta fix the article on Bengals.com. The article says the new Assistant OL coach coached at Widener on Long Island. Widener is in PA, just sayin’ Quote
