I know this has probably been posted many times... but I can't always remember and new members surface all the time. I'll begin: I work at my dad's transportation company. I started working here 3 years ago helping dispatch his trucks to make some money to retake my state nursing boards. I liked it and grew to really understand the industry and began to enjoy it. I now do the accounting and financial management of the company. WAY better than dispatching. I don't really have a title? I write and execute protocols to ensure that the equipment and systems we use to make our products are what they are supposed to be, and do what they are supposed to do so our products are safe. -GoBengals- Posted July 3, 2011 Report Share Posted July 3, 2011 Technical Consultant II I was in cell phone sales when i was younger, got tired of the bullshit and customers over the years and quotas and f'd up commission changes monthly or bi monthly.. so there was an opening to move to the technical side, and i jumped on it, part of my day I repair phones, but being out here there are call centers and other departments locally, so I have spent time getting them on the same page as retail stores, doing shadowing there and them shadowing retail store, and i am the only one in teh market able to view drop call details and network performance and things of that nature, so i spend a handful of time working with many stores and departments with people claiming drops calls and network issues, getting details of where, when and what caused the call drop and how many calls dropped vs calls made and made decisions on scenarios like that. reloading pone software and finding bugs in apps and shit that causes problems so we can avoid them and advise customers to avoid as well..
