Why? It's seems to be pretty redundant. You can have him in and do the exact same things in a setting that you control? They are basically saying to them it adds no value. They will see everything they can see at a pro day without the player being able to control it.

I guess its like saying "I'm having steak for dinner so I might as well skip the free buffet for lunch."  There's probably something worthwhile you could grab at lunch that would help tide you over until dinner, but you're so excited about your dinner you pass up the freebie.

Sure pro days are scripted but it seems absurd that they couldn't find some nugget of info that makes the trip worthwhile.  Seems like an "I'm smarter than you move" when they haven't proven anything yet.  Now if Belichick & co. started doing this it'd probably be hailed as the smartest move ever, but these guys have yet to prove anything of significance other than being hired by one of the most poorly run franchises of the last two decades...

@nfl: Report: @houstontexans 'trying hard' to trade No. 1 pick http://t.co/PCNPp0r3dY

Wow, now that would be interesting.  Would you guys be willing to give up our #1, #2 and what do you figure #4 or 5 for Clowney?

Obviously, the Texans have one of the QBs in mind at a lower pick so I doubt they would deal with us anyways.

I don't think that would get us there. We're talking this year's 1st, next year's 1st, a 2 or 3 this year and probably a 2 or 3 next year to get up there. It'd be way too much.

For most teams I would agree but we have a lot of young parts already in place minus maybe corner and LT.

I would just love, for once, to have that terrifying defensive player on our team.  Atkins is close and Tez is certainly trying to add his name to an almost blank Bengals list the last 15 years.   Can you imagine the turmoil a healthy Atkins AND Clowney could cause a team?  Can't step up, can't step back.

Yeah, it would take an absolutely massive amount to move up that far. Two or 3 #1 picks and probably a couple #2 picks also.

To me it seems like the beginning of a trend for the top players.

30 of 32 teams were there.

What are you even talking about? Just arguing to argue?

Who the fuck is arguing?

I just stated a thought. The Browns logic makes perfect sense. Shit that makes sense catches on.Why are you sending a bunch of people to a pro day when the guy is coming to your house anyway.

You don't just do things because you always do them or everyone else is doing them.

Looks like she's back in the picture. This should move him up a round or so...

@NFL_CFB: AJ McCarron, Katherine Webb announce they're engaged. http://t.co/Ea9tOVQb5U http://t.co/3MOd7CKdp6

Guys, we gotta get this cat. Seriously, if its between two guys in the 3rd round, SHE has to put him over the top.   Now if you assholes could refrain from throwing trash on her lawn or booing her man, she might retire a Bengal's wife.
