I think it was called Community Huddles or something? Moved here in 2004 I believe. Been a good time and we've come a long ways in terms of the stuff we bitch about. We are Bengals fans. I spend thousands of dollars and many of us spend countless hours of our time to organize and orchestrate as productive and entertaining of an environment as possible. That said there are dozens of bengals sites out there. From the official site to geocities level ones that hurt your eyes to look at. Essentially a place for everyone, every fan type and every forum preference. I have life long friends from here, some don't post here anymore but i still talk to on a weekly basis, and thats just fine! I know drama can be a source of entertainment, and I know it can also be a proactive part of a dysfunctional internet family. I encourage everyone to visit all bengals fan sites, we are all fans and the point of this is to enjoy the fandom and make it a source of entertainment for everyone. What I want to eliminate is the harmful drama. The emotional overreactions, and the silly scheming behind the scenes as if this is a cut throat corporation instead of a free football fan community. With complaints trickling in over getting spam PM's to join this board or that board or whatever, I just wanted to clear the air. We intend to hold no one hostage, and would love for there to be many thriving bengals fan sites so fans of all types have a place to call home. We hope this can always be called home, and there is no logical need to play super secret PM genie to invite people to other boards. This is the only board I have ever been to. Even when I am not activity posting I am stopping in and reading. I come here first before going to bengals.com. Over the years I have enjoyed the antics of BJ, rumble, Jamie, old schooler and a few others. The Few that get a case of douchbagary I just figure it's frustration from the passion of our favorite team. One thing you can say is that we all love the Bengals and the abuse they put us through. We would not have it any other way. We all have the "abused girlfriend syndrome ". I Would like to see BJ back for sure. That was a disturbing son of a bitch I say all that to say this is still the best damn bengals board on the net. BJ is around but is incredibily busy in Kurdistan doing PHD work, for those of us who are FB friends with him (you would have to request him directly as it's not something I would be ok giving out that's his call) it's been a interesting follow of his adventures there lately. CreechNasty - Go's sidekick at one time, met him when he and Go came to one of the Bengals/Skins games. (Back when I was a no good dirty republican too) 85WIlkesfan - I know is around I've got some mutual FB friends with him. IndianaBengal - (RIP brother) :closedeyes: TheBZ - He disapeared for a long time and was back a few months ago for a few days then disapeared again.
