That's BS the Bills didn't vote with us

yes but at least they abstained so add in the fact it took 25 yes votes to pass it, abstaining was a passive vote  against it.  or they just let everyone else vote 1st and didnt have too.  unlike the baltimore ravens who had vested bais, did vote for the rule change

I think that the biggest problem with the vote was that there was not an alternative option presented.  It wasn’t, do you want Option A or Option B?;  it was do you want Option A or not?  If Option A is voted down, then they have no solution…and almost no time to come up with anything better. Most teams probably voted “yes” just to get it over with.

Bastards. 😠

It was likely a Congressional-style up/down roll call. It can be done electrically and tabulates as votes are cast. Doubtful anyone would have known who was doing what—officially that is.

However, semi- like Congress, everyone knows the votes before the measure is put to the floor.

A friend of mine and his son were down at the game. His son always gets a mini helmet for the opposing team and gets autographs on it before the game and then posts pics to opposing fans' sites. He got Hamlin's signature on the helmet before the game and my friend got a pic of Hamlin signing it and a pic of the helmet. His son posted it on the Bills Mafia site and is getting offers to sell it. The most recent offer was $3000.00.

The biggest problem is that there was already a rule in the books for handling this situation. Then someone whose name probably rhymes with HellNah did what he does best - piss and moan

Kind of on-topic...although the National Hockey League never mix-and-matched a Playoff for him:

On February 8th, 1972, Flyers goalie Bruce Gamble suffered a heart attack while in net vs. the Canucks, and went on to finish the game.

After the game and after reaching Oakland with the team, Gamble complained of chest pains and was sent to an Oakland hospital. It was found out that Gamble had suffered a heart attack during the Vancouver game.

Honestly, hockey players are a different breed.  Even in modern times a guy like Patrice Bergeron is an absolute animal.  Won a cup in 2013 with broken rib, separated shoulder and a pinhole puncture in a lung.
