We just passed the 20 year mark, I started the original forum started May 2004.

Been a wild ride.

I'm a fairly newer member (2015-ish, transplant from the official team board that shut down) but I just wanted to say thank you for all that you've done and continue to do for this community. This is an exciting time for fans and having an outlet like this to talk Bengals football is second to none.

I love this place.

Came here right after the Kimo Assassination Game. It was a great place for me then to vent against all things Stealer. Still is, although that sort of stuff isn’t in my briefcase any longer.

Numbers, Amish, Tibor, and I go back forever on many boards..all gone now (and would have been old enough to drink—and even roll dice).

Thanks Ryan. You have done one heckuva job.

I'm a refugee of the old Jungle board with my join date here showing 2007.

I guess that's right.

Fellow refugees include MOC, Michael Weston and Tiger J@w.

Not sure why that board died overnight, have a suspicion but really dunno.

A lot of good friends lost in cyberspace now.

The only thing I liked better about that board was it allowed "ghosting" and a lot

of strange characters showed up from time to time like Paul Brown's Ghost and

Marge Schott with her chronic hack *cough* smokers' cough.

Really like it here, hate it when (most) people leave and would like to see (most) of them return.

And I really hit the panic button some mornings when I log on and the board is down for one reason or another.

Besides the unPC yukking it up, it has become my go-to source of Bengals poop and scoop.

Thanks, Go!

November 1st 2004 for me.  When I joined I had been joining random boards just trying to find people to chat with about the draft (the only thing we really had to look forward to for YEARS) and our Bengals.  My handle is actually a reflection of the fact that the first board I ever joined was the "Insider Boards" draft board, and as a Bengal fan I felt like I needed to explicitly acknowledge just how sad we were (and try to side-step as much of the inevitable "the Bengals suck" trash talk as possible).

I actually joined the Bengals "Insider Board" not long after the draft board, and that was the board I ended up frequenting for many years.  I would check in here rarely, but when the Insider Boards got bought and quickly died, I came straight here.   I know we have at least a handful of refugees from the Insider boards here, it was a fun place too.

The resiliency of this place is something to be really proud of, Go.

Training camp August 2006 for me so I guess when you guys can drink I'll have to stay with 3.2% beer, LOL.

Is that even still a thing in Ohio these days?

Happily, no.

We live in a golden age of beer brewing. The 3.2% was the max alcohol content for youth beer with 6% the max for adult beer. My dad used to be a Municipal Court judge and when someone was arrested for selling adult beer to younger people, it had to be tested to show it was above 3.2%. Sometimes it wasn't.  Nowadays, you can get Imperial Stouts that are 12% or so.

I think it is pretty much universal and now called "Lite".

Told to me by a friend because I don't drink.

I’m an Insiders castaway like Pity and a number of others like Lost, Tibor and Zeraw who rolled in after that board blew up. My first board was MikeBrownSucks with Tibor and Jersey and some others. I started in 2008 but, wasn’t very active until Insiders crashed and burned.

I miss Lost's comments.

Very analytical about schemes and plays.

You too my old friend .

Joined in 2006 after filtering through a number of failed message boards. That this one is still standing, even in a reduced capacity, is something else.

Looks like I joined April 2006. This is definitely the most durable Bengals board.

Sorry some of the old-timers aren't around anymore.

the 2021 success really spiked attendance here, it was a fun run.

id like to take some sort of credit but hell during the dalton time there were entires years i didnt even stop by, id swing in 1-2 times a year to run security updates when spammers would get in, aside from that the resilience was mostly having the server and software on autopay, lol. its been fun to have a good team to root for, and spending time watching GOOD bengals football with my kid(s) has been cool. hopefully it cant last a while longer. the platform is dying, attempts to tie it to twitter and other social networks was futile. so it is what it is for good.

I've been here longer than almost all of you, and actually recruited several of you to come here from other boards.

Just sayin'

Time flies.

I’ve only been here since 2018, and I came over from a forum that suddenly disappeared at Sox’s invitation, but I’ve been posting with a lot of people here going back to the Cincinnati.com board in 1999. I’ve met LT, the aforementioned Sox, Spotto, and the infamous Tibor75. It’s been fun.
