MichaelWeston
I doubt he is gone, but if he decided to retire Who would you want to replace him? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000715672/article/head-coach-candidates-josh-mcdaniels-tops-the-list http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2016/11/03/head-coach-2017-candidates-josh-mcdaniels/93267582/ http://www.todayspigskin.com/from-the-sidelines/nfl-assistants-who-could-become-head-coaching-candidates-in-2017/
MichaelWeston
My uneducated favorites are Marrone, Shanahan and Joseph.
|Montana Bengal|
Funny - I was chatting with Go about this before the game last night. My question actually was "Do they bring Hue back when he gets fired?"
Sigfox09
Daniels is my top choice. He deserves a second shot as the top guy. Maybe hire the cowboys oline coach as Oc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
whodey365
Matt Patricia. Dude's a rocket scientist. Tom Coughlin or some other big name former successful head coach.
Madieu Superstar
They"ll hire Jerry Glanville. OTA's will take place when the Boca Shuffleboard tournament ends.
Le Tigre
Even Haslam won't jettison Hue after one season. Start the discussion by sorting out which teams will shitcan their present HC's, and go from there. If the Bengals have more than a few made to order candidates available, they might take a look. But don't think they will make a change just to make a change. Otherwise you get a fourth choice type like Pettine.
akiliMVP
I like Kyle Shanahan, Josh McDaniels and Matt Patricia. In that order.

big_dish
Chatter from some Packers fans friends of mine is that they all think McCarthy will be fired if they dont have a miraculous turnaround. I'd take him in a heartbeat Or Patricia, or Vance. No to old man Coughlin. He's a stumble away from a life threatening broken hip.

|High School Harry|
Whomever anyone on here thinks, you have to ask yourself "what is his connection to the Brown family"? I really don't want Hue back. I see him as Marvin 2.0. Also, whoever it is is going to probably have to keep Guenther, Alexander and Zampese as long time Bengal grunts. Thinking in-house. So how about... Jim Haslett Recent hire (being groomed), head coaching experience, now beholding and indebted to Mikatie Brown. Something tells me he was brought in for a reason. He certainly is not going to make any demands of the Brown family that will upset the Old Boy apple cart. Outsiders would definitely want to bring in people of their own. Food for thought and JMHO. Nah he can come back as WR coach Quote Also, whoever it is is going to probably have to keep Guenther, Alexander and Zampese as long time Bengal grunts. Thinking in-house. So how about... If that's the case we may as well stick with Marvin.

Big Alice
I don't know who the next head coach of the Bengals is going to be, but I really hope the next guy does two things...1. Squash the complacency of the vets.2. Be aggressive - in every aspect. My gut says (Stanford Head Coach) David Shaw is next up. He's smart and soft-spoken, which seem to be traits that Mike Brown and (soon-to-be Vice President - Football Operations) Marvin Lewis like.Sent from my iPhone using Go-Bengals.com
Catfish Bob
Coughlin Gruden We got players that need disciplined. Two guys that will rip their asses apart if need be. Marvin just too soft sometimes you got to dog walk these immature young pros.

turningpoint
I could totally see Cowher coming here or a lot of really good coaches, especially with Ben Rothlisberger only having 2-3 years left, this division could be owned by the bengals for years to come once Ben retires and I think he's 1-2 more injuries away from hanging it up. JC
I'd go balls to the wall for Urban. He just turned a team down last off-season though. Kyle Shannahan would be an interesting option.
