And the advanced stats had Carolina as the 4th and 11th best offense the last two seasons. The one thing that doesn't make any sense is that they are reportedly switching back to a 3-4 defense. Makes no sense as they have no LBs and the D line is the strength of their D. They seem to dramatically change their scheme every few years and then have to totally rebuild their roster to try to fit to the new scheme. Makes no sense and would really set their D backwards. [/quote] to each their own. If I was in their shoes I don't know that I could deny a good friend a chance to reach one of his dream goals. I'd prefer it not be in the division, but for a guy like Zimmer who has been shafted for years, I wouldn't deny him the chance. If he was getting a boatload of interviews, that would be another topic. Plus, as kmw reminds, its not like the Bengals can actually say no.
